CALL FOR PAPERS
Call for papers on the thematic dossier “Film and Video Game” for the journal Rotura published by the Research Center for Research in Communication Sciences and Arts is open between July 15th and October 30th.
Film and Video Game. A common morphology, syntax and stylistics are in the embryo of these two media. Their interrelationship is made explicit in cultural, social and artistic phenomena; however, each of them is a universe consolidated in different genres, typologies and particularities.
For this thematic dossier, Rotura invites proposals for original research articles which fall into the following subfields:
- Technology, Film and Video Games
- Aesthetics and Audiovisual Production
- Experimental Film, Video art and Art Game
- Digital Media and Interactivity
- History of Cinema and History of Video Games
Rotura accepts articles written in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
