CIAC joins the program Cientificamente Provável

The Research Center for Arts and Communication joins the Cientificamente Provável Initiative, a program between the Research Units and the basic and secondary Schools, operated through the School Library Network (RBE – Rede de Bibliotecas Escolares) and jointly launched by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education.

The CIAC proposal, which involves schools in the municipality of Loulé that have shown interest in this collaboration, proposes a set of partnership activities for the next two years, with the objective of developing the initiation to the scientific research in the areas of communication, literacy and arts.

This program is a joint initiative of the State Department of Education through the School Libraries Network and the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Higher Education with the objective of intensifying the promotion of knowledge and contributing to the enrichment of the young people, by establishing closer links between higher education institutions and basic and secondary schools, through the intermediation of school libraries.
