CIAC Researcher attends the conference: Society for Utopian Studies: Disruption Displacement Disorder

Beatriz Cantinho, a CIAC collaborator on several projects currently underway, is now in Berkeley, San Francisco, to attend the 43rd annual conference of the Society for Utopian Studies: Disruption Displacement Disorder, where she will present some results of her work ‘La Dérive : Choreographic strategies of political dissent ‘.

This communication approaches some of the paths which the ‘Dérive Situationist’ can take and the ways in which choreography as a discipline can critically address the aesthetic and political transformative power of the movement, whether this movement occurs within or outside the boundaries of the art .
