CIAC WELCOMES ANTÓNIO DELGADO BAENA FOR DOCTORAL INTERNSHIP

António Delgado Baena, a doctoral program student at Universidad Loyola Andalucía focusing on Inclusive and Sustainable Development, with his doctoral thesis supervised by Antonio Sianes, Professor in Political Science and Administration, has commenced a doctoral internship at CIAC/UAlg under the supervision of researcher Sílvia Leiria Viegas.

António Delgado Baena’s doctoral project aligns with the general research line and, in particular, with the project titled “Refugee Research for (Post)Covid-19 National Measures and Local Actions in the Algarve: A Digital Tour for Access to Adequate Housing and Living Conditions” (2021.03008.CEECIND/FCT), currently underway at CIAC/UAlg.

Throughout the doctoral internship, the candidate will engage in discussions with researchers working on topics related to his thesis, contribute to and help consolidate an intersectional and urban studies group, support the research team hosting him, and assist in identifying potential areas of collaboration between the Instituto de Investigación en Políticas para la Transformación Social at Universidad Loyola and the CIAC – Research Center for Arts and Communication at the University of Algarve.

The internship will last approximately 3 months, taking place from December 5, 2023, to March 15, 2024.
