PhD in Digital Media Art

Rui António defended, on December 13th, evidence for obtaining a PhD degree in Digital Media Art, with the thesis entitled “Characters in search of a Spet-Ator”. The main arguing were the doctors Nelson Troca Zagalo and José Manuel Emiliano Bidarra de Almeida. The PhD research, supervised by Professors Bruno Silva and João Rodrigues, resulted in the creation of two digital artifacts, two registered patents and several articles accepted in international journals and conferences.
In the end, the Jury, chaired by the Director of the PhD in Digital Media Arts, Professor Adérito Fernandes Marcos, approved the defended work with Distinction and Praise.
