Research stay

CIAC hosts researcher from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for a research stay.

Between the 18th and the 22th February , the project romanceiro.pt will count on the collaboration of Nicolás Asensio, Phd student in Hispanic philology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. This research period, the result of the partnership between the Project romanceiro.pt and the Fundación Ramón Menéndez Pidal, takes place under the Erasmus + Program.

Nicolás Asensio Jiménez (Pamplona, ​​1991) has been working on the traditional romanceiro of the Hispanic languages ​​in the framework of the projects developed by the Ramón Menéndez Pidal Foundation. He published articles in several magazines on the traditional romanceiro, on textual criticism and thought of the Middle Ages, as well as a monograph entitled Libro de la traslación y milagros de San Millán (Ediciones Emilianenses, 2016).

During this stay, Nicolás Asensio Jiménez will have the opportunity to participate in a seminar, to be announced briefly, at the University of the Algarve, where he will share the results of the work he has been developing.
