1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LITERATURE AND TOURISM: LIT&TOUR

The first edition of the International Conference of Literature and Tourism: Lit&Tour will take place on June 23 and 24. The event will present works by the Lit&Tour group and is open to all members and collaborators of the CIAC.

The program features a launch of the book “Working Definitions in Literature and Tourism: a research guide”, edited by CIAC researchers Sílvia Quinteiro and Maria José Marques. On the 23 of June the book “Crónicas e Conferências Vol. 5, das Obras de José Dias Sancho” will also be launched. Vol. 5, das Obras de José Dias Sancho”. For Saturday, 24 June, the group has organized a literary tour.

The event takes place in Faro, in the conference room of the Library, at the University of Algarve – Campus Gambelas.

In addition to the conferences, the group also organizes LIT&TOUR: International Journal of Literature and Tourism Research, a biannual open-access publication that promotes research in the field of literature and Tourism Studies and integrates experts from around the world. The call for papers is open permanently.
