SÍLVIA QUINTEIRO INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN DEBATE ON LITERARY TOURISM
On 22 September 2023, from 15h00 to 17h00, CIAC researcher Sílvia Quinteiro will be the first guest of the Debates on Literary Tourism. The event takes place at the Hotel Pessoa—Lisbon, a hotel inspired by Fernando Pessoa, located at the address that headquartered the typography that printed the Orpheu Magazine, co-led by Pessoa himself, in 1915.
The Debates on Literary Tourism will be coordinated by researcher Fabrizio Boscaglia (professor at the Lusophone University) and intend to provide room for debate and exchange of ideas between the invited speakers, who are experts, scholars, and professionals of literary tourism in Portugal and internationally.
Researcher Silvia Quinteiro is a prestigious reference on literature and tourism in Portugal. She is the coordinator of the School of Management, Hospitality, and Tourism of the University of Algarve, founder of CIAC’s Research Group on Literature and Tourism, co-coordinator of the Literary Route of the Algarve, author and coordinator of several scientific publications, including the magazine LIT&TOUR and the books Working Definitions in Literature and Tourism (2022, with Maria José Marques) and Literary Hotels of Portugal (2022).
Registration for the event must be made through this registration form.
