On January 23rd, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Ana Romana guides the Conversation “Stories of the Artist’s Book”, in the lobby of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Art Library. This conversation accompanies the bibliographic exhibition with the same title present in the showcase of the lobby and in the Library of Art and will be attended by André Cepeda (artist and founder of Inc. – Livros e Edições de Autor), David Guéniot (Editor – Ghost Editions ), Luiza Teixeira de Freitas (curator and collector), Pedro Barateiro (artist) and Ana Barata (librarian – Gulbenkian Archives and Art Library).
“Artist Book Stories” follows a series of interviews with actors related to the artist’s book (artists, publishers, booksellers, collectors, curators and librarians), under the PhD of Ana João Romana Publicar a estória/história do livro de artista em Portugal (Publish the story/story of the book of the artist in Portugal).
The entrance is free, although subject to the capacity of the room.
