CIAC participates in the Journey promoted by FCT in the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

As part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, through the Foundation for Science and Technology, promotes a double day dedicated to research in the field of culture and heritage and patrimonial sciences (research activities and projects) which, in the context of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, are being conducted or planned by the Research Units and Cultural Institutions in this context, highlighting the experiences, pathways and examples, and promoting the debate on strategies, opportunities and challenges facing cultural heritage and heritage sciences.

The first meeting of this agenda will be held on April 4, 2018, at the Thalia Theater, where some current projects, developed in research units, will be presented.

The second meeting, in a workshop format, will take place the following day, April 5, 2018, at the Thalia Theater, with the purpose of presenting and discussing the Thematic Agenda for Research and Innovation on the theme “Culture and Cultural Heritage”.
