CIAC researcher wll present his new work in Fado Museum.

Armando Nascimento Rosa launches a double CD entitled O fado é estranha alegria, in a concert at the Fado Museum in Lisbon on the 28th of May.

O fado é estranha alegria is a work with 40 themes, some of which created for theatrical plays of which Armando Nascimento Rosa is the author, and which anthology about three decades of songwriting. The recording and the edition count on the support of the cultural background of the Portuguese Society of Authors and the Office of Special Projects and Innovation of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, as well as the Évora City Hall and the Fado Museum, which hosts the launching concert , in which Nascimento Rosa will be accompanied by the maestro Mário Rui Teixeira, in the piano, producer of the CD, as well as Manuel Ferreira (Portuguese guitar), Miguel Silva (viola de fado) and Paulo Neves (bass guitar), and other invited musicians such as the singer and voice teacher at the ESTC Maria Repas Gonçalves and the violinist António Barbosa.
