The exhibition gabinete > gregório, by Pedro Saraiva, opens next Thursday, October 08, at 6:30 p.m., in the Trem Gallery. This exhibition continues the agreement signed between CIAC and Faro Municipal Council.

About the Artist:

With each new gabinete he opens, Pedro Saraiva reinvents stories about ordinary people, who could have been out of the ordinary. Biographies are narratives between reliability and fiction and are the pretext for the exhibition, made up of objects and drawings that create an ambiguous iconography, transforming the artist into a kind of contemporary historian, who has decided to make an inventory of the life of the common man.
This exhibition, purposely created for the Trem Gallery, will bring us a better understanding of the artist, professor at the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon, and tireless collector of images, stories and characters that are converted, through his hands, into objects of art.

gabinete > gregório, by Pedro Saraiva, is open to the public between October 08 and November 28, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
