“É perigoso olhar para dentro” [It’s dangerous to look inside] on show at TREM Gallery in December

The exhibition “É perigoso olhar para dentro”, by Bertílio Martins and Nuno Viegas and curated by Pedro Cabral Santo, Mirian Tavares and Xana, will open on December 13, at the TREM Gallery, in Faro. The works presented in this exhibition aim, through various media, to explore the boundary between what is revealed and what is concealed, with special focus on the field of art where “the frame of paintings or the screen function as the cutting zone, the exact place where the artist allows you to enter his work”. It is precisely on what is left out that the two artists want to speak, about images that are not displayed or spaces that are forbidden to us. The exhibition runs until February 02, 2013.
