Na Poeira do Caminho [In the Dust of the Trail] by Susana Gaudêncio opens at the Trem Gallery

The Trem Gallery hosts Na Poeira do Caminho by Susana Gaudêncio. The exhibition opens on Thursday, May 04, at 6:30 p.m. In addition to the opening, a guided tour of the exhibition given by the artist is planned for Saturday, May 06, at 3:00 p.m.

The exhibition runs until June 28 and can be viewed from Tuesday to Saturday, between 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

About the artist:

Susana Gaudêncio studied Painting at the University of Lisbon and has a degree from Hunter College in New York (CUNY). She is currently a PhD student at the University of Lisbon. Her research work focuses on the “Utopian impulse in the practice of contemporary art”. The artist has already exhibited her work in several national and international venues, highlights of which include: the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the Electricity Museum in Lisbon, the Visual Arts Centre (CAV) in Coimbra, the Liverpool Biennial and the ISE Foundation in New York. Susana Gaudêncio coordinates the Education Programme of the Lisbon Architecture Triennial and teaches at the School of Art and Design, in Caldas da Rainha.
