Caution: Exhibition ‘Impróprio para Consumo’ [unfit for consumption]

The exhibition ‘Impróprio para Consumo’ will open next April 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the Trem Gallery. In what is the fourth initiative organised by CIAC in this space, the goal is to promote the work of three artists, who use everyday objects to create works of art. Jorge Mestre Simão, Angelo Gonçalves and Tatiana Barreiros creatively question the role of objects in the world, reconfiguring them and reiterating the artist’s idea as a collector who appropriates what he sees and transforms the ordinary into the out of the ordinary. Making art with leftovers, the three artists present the public with a product truly unfit for consumption.
