Galeria Trem hosts the exhibition of the local artist Vicente Brito
The next exhibition of the Galeria Trem receives a renowned Algarvian artist: Vicente Brito brings to his hometown Morte e Vida -Death and Life. The inauguration will take place on September 13 at 6:30 p.m., and will feature the artist’s presence.
Vicente de Brito was born in 1939 in Faro, he is graduated in medicine in Lisbon in 1966 and continued his studies in surgery in Switzerland and the United Kingdom until 1973, when he intensified his interest in painting and modern art . Since 1975 he has shared his works in individual and collective exhibitions. His works are present in public collections such as the City Hall of Faro, the Infante D. Henrique Museum, the Portimão Art Museum, among other national collections.
This exhibition is part of the program for the Galeria Trem by the Visual Arts degree of the University of Algarve, and has the support of the CIAC, the FCT and the Câmara de Faro / Museu Municipal.
