ART EXHIBITION
Galeria Trem will host from the 24th January the exhibition Torre, muro e mundo of Tiago Batista, CIAC collaborator and Professor in the Visual Arts Degree in the University of Algarve.
The artist, professor and researcher Tiago Batista, co-founder of the Associação 289 in Faro, brings to the Galeria Trem the art work Torre, Muro e o Mundo, which reflects on the design issues that have been manifesting in his artistic path. According to Pedro Cabral Santo, director of the Degree in Visual Arts and supervisor of Tiago Batista’s doctoral project in Communication, Culture and Arts, this is an exhibition “unequivocally associated with his doctoral dissertation One Machine, One Thousand Drawings.”
The inauguration, scheduled for the 24th January at 6:30 p.m., will be attended by the artist who will guide us through his work, and will be open to the public until the 28th of March, according to the timetable of the Gallery.
As usual, this is another exhibition within the framework of the program of the Visual Arts Course at the University of Algarve for the Galeria Trem, with the support of the CIAC, the FCT and the City Hall / Municipal Museum of Faro.
