Pedro Cabral Santo inaugurates the exhibition OMNIA in Faro, in the Association 289.

OMNIA is the name of the exhibition that Pedro Cabral Santo inaugurates next 11th of May in the Association 289. This event is part of a triptych that began in Guimarães and Serralves (Endless) continues with the present ONNIA and will have its epilogue in the Gallery VPF, with the exhibition Da Terra à Lua, a pé, on foot.

These exhibitions cross an anachronistic set of works accomplished in the last 25 years. In OMNIA Pedro Cabral Santo has developed a complex device, where it involves numerous means and techniques that, as a whole, seek to involve the viewer in an environment that intends exploring and addressing the role of artists and art around issues and generic events that are vigorous and anchored in our so-called contemporary societies – relevant and unpredictable political-social phenomena related to the incessant dissemination of multiple and different languages that constitute the the essence of our contemporary world, and which formally manifest themselves through the pictorial, sculptural and installation essence, capable of proposing to the artist the possibility of having a vision beyond the forms and the apparent recognition of the objects used, and thus obtain further readings that without which they made this and the other worlds, without doubt, poorest.

The exhibition will show 10 works, with 5 premieres, divided by sculptures, paintings, installations and video installations and will be open to the public until 7th July, from Friday to Sunday, from 15h to 19h.

It opens on May 11, at 5pm, at Sítio das Pontes de Marchil  in Faro.
