New exhibition at Galeria Trem: Territórios, Vestígios, Lascas … inaugurates on April 19th at 6:00 p.m.

The Galeria Trem hosts an exhibition from April to May organized by the degree in Visual Arts from Algarve University, with the support of CIAC and the Câmara de Faro/Museu Municipal. Territórios, Vestígios, Lascas… is the name of the collective exhibition of the young artists Tatiana de Almeida, Bruno Grilo, Ana Rostron and Gonçalo Rodrigues. The inauguration will take place on April 19th at 6:00 p.m. and will be attended by the artists.

About the artists:

Sobre os artistas:

Tatiana de Almeida (1995, Guarda) has a degree in Visual Arts at the University of Algarve, currently atends a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto. She has been presenting his work mainly in collective exhibitions, both in Algarve and in Oporto. She recently presented hers first solo exhibition in Vila Nova de Cerveira.

Gonçalo Rodrigues (Portimão, 1992) currently lives between Faro and Carvoeiro. He graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve. Since then he has participated in several collective exhibitions, such as the Anti Bioptico exhibition (Pavilhão 31, Lisbon and later in the Convent of Santo António, Loulé), participation in the Tower of Babel exhibition during the MED festival (Loulé) and in several exhibitions at Amarelarte, Faro, such as Arte Mexe, among others.

Ana Rostron (Faro, 1993) lives and works in Lisbon. Graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve (Faro), the artist works with degraded materials such as wood, rusted iron and other materials that have fallen into disuse. She exhibited her work individually in Untitled, 2015 at CECAL, Center for Experimentation and Artistic Creation of Loulé (Loulé, 2016). Her work also included several collective exhibitions, namely 289 = 14, Associação 289 (Faro, 2018); Dans le Rôle, São João de Deus Museum (Sintra, 2017); Retrospective – 10 years of MED Festival exhibitions, Historical Center of Loulé (Loulé, 2016); Gallery Palace (Tavira, 2015); FACa – Factory of Contemporary Art, Fábrica da Cerveja (Faro, 2015); BIVAR – Art, Design and Culture, Rua Conselheiro Bivar (Faro, 2013) and J’art, Maryland Science Center, Baltimore, Maryland (United States of America, 2009).

Bruno Grilo (Albufeira, 1986). Lives and works in Oporto. He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve and a Master of Fine Arts from the Birmingham School of Art in the United Kingdom.
