INTERNATIONAL EVENT

CIAC REPRESENTED IN THE EUROPEAN LANGUAGE COUNCIL FORUM  

On 1 and 2 December 2022, CIAC researcher Manuel Célio Conceição attends the 2022 CEL / ELC Forum, promoted by the European Language Council (CEL / ELC). Under the theme “Languages in European University Alliances: challenges and issues,” the event aims to reflect on languages prevalent in European University Alliances. The Forum is co-organized by CIAC and takes place at the Faculty of Philology, University of Seville.

On 2 December, at 13h00, Manuel Célio da Conceição joins the “Report of the Forum” table, led by CEL’s president Maria Teresa Zanola (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan).

The CEL Forum is an opportunity for dialogue between partners and colleagues of the European alliances to jointly reflect on the serious challenges languages currently face. The event brings together contributions, experiences, and reflections on the role of languages in HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals), strategies for their promotion, techniques for intercomprehension, and methodologies and actions to promote plurilingualism.
