The lecture “Bibliotecas e Práticas de Leitura no Algarve” (Libraries and Reading Practices in the Algarve), by Patrícia de Jesus Palma, organized by CIAC under the scope of the cycle of lectures “Livro: Passado, presente e future” (Book: past, present and future), a joint organization by CIAC, Library of Universidade do Algarve and Biblioteca Álvaro de Campos, is to be held on the next 5^th of April, by 11 am, at Universidade do Algarve, room 2.35 of FCHS,

Patrícia de Jesus Palma, doctoral student in Portuguese Studies, specialized in História do Livro e Crítica Textual will be the guest lecturer and will present an unpublished data set about libraries and usage of the books in the Algarve during the 18^th and 19^th centuries.
