MANUEL CÉLIO CONCEIÇÃO IS CO-EDITOR OF TWO ISSUES RECENTLY PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE IN PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE
The last two issues recently published by the International Magazine in Portuguese Language have CIAC researcher Manuel Célio Conceição as co-editor.
Under the theme “Ensino da Língua Portuguesa: Casos e Projetos”[Teaching Portuguese Language: Cases and Projects] the number 39 of the journal gathers a set of articles dedicated to the teaching of Portuguese and its varieties. It presents methods, strategies and technologies for the teaching and learning of Portuguese as a non-native and foreign language.
The number 40, entitled “Ensino da Língua Portuguesa: Contextos e Perspetivas”,[Portuguese Language Teaching: Contexts and Perspectives], presents the voices of researchers from different spaces (Angola, Brazil, China, including Macau, Mozambique and Portugal) who problematize the issue of Portuguese language teaching, supported by different strategic and methodological perspectives. The panoply of contexts and perspectives, besides its informative dimension for the reader interested in the place of Portuguese in the world and its teaching, assumes a formative dimension for researchers and teachers, exemplifying possibilities of approach and study of various research questions.
Published since 1989, the International Magazine in Portuguese Language is an interdisciplinary publication of the Association of Portuguese Speaking Universities (AULP), with online circulation and national and international print distribution, which aims to promote the exchange of knowledge among all those in America, Europe and Africa who speak Portuguese in their daily lives and are concerned about its use and teaching.
