NEW PUBLICATION
Edições Húmus just published the book Margarida Gil: four decades of audiovisual by Ana Isabel Soares
As part of the 12Catorze collection, Edições Húmus has just launched a text by our researcher Ana Isabel Soares dedicated to filmmaker Margarida Gil. This is a complete version, now in Portuguese, of the essay that was part of the book Women’s Cinema in Contemporary Portugal, organized by Mariana Liz and Hilary Owen.
The 12Catorze collection aims to be an open avenue for literary culture in its various forms: from poetry to essays, through theater and fiction. It is also open to authors at the beginning of their careers and those whose careers are already a long way off. The collection, with a minimalist aesthetic, draws attention for its uniqueness and paratextual simplicity, and for the tripartite journey that each box proposes.
