MANUEL CÉLIO CONCEIÇÃO NOMINATED REPRESENTATIVE TO THE FRANCOPHONE UNIVERSITY AGENCY

Manuel Célio Conceição, CIAC researcher and President of the Lexicology, Terminology and Translation Network (LTT), was appointed representative of the Humanities area at the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
By appointment of the AUF Board of Directors, the LTT Network is now part of the Council of Networks, a consultative body of the AUF Rector, composed of ten representatives from different scientific areas. Manuel Célio Conceição, as President of the LTT Network, will assume the role of representative of the Humanities area. According to the researcher, this participation will bring visibility to the University of Algarve and will contribute to its internationalization.

The AUF is the largest network of universities in the world, comprising 1007 universities from 119 countries, whose mission is to ensure the quality of higher education in the Francophone university area. The Portuguese universities are members of the AUF: University of Coimbra and University of Aveiro.
