CIAC team publishes an article on “Education, Cinema and Social Networks: a look from the National Cinema Plan”.

The article, written by João Paulo Pinto, who is developing his doctoral thesis on the National Cinema Plan, was written in co-authorship with the teachers Teresa Cardoso (UAb) and Ana Isabel Soares (UAlg), supervisors of this research, within the PhD in Digital Media Art and it has just been published in the journal Translocal – Culturas contemporâneas locais e urbanas.

The invitation for this publication comes from the participation of the researchers in the LITERATURE & CINEMA Seminar, which took place in Madeira in June / July), being part of the doctoral dissertation “EDUCATION, CINEMA, SOCIAL NETWORKS: A study on the National Cinema Plan” hosted by the CIAC and funded with an FCT grant.

The article, now published, is a starting point “for the theoretical framework of an investigation that aims to understand how this governmental initiative has made use of online digital social networks, and contribute to the consolidation of scientific knowledge about the areas of Education, Film and Social Networks “.
