Partnership

The João Garcia Miguel Company (Cia JGM) and the Institute for Training, Research and Theater Creation (IFICT) have established an artistic partnership in order to create a new space for all those who seek experimental workshops and training in the area of performing arts, short, medium or long term.

At the moment, the “ArtesaniaDramática da Escrita Cénica” is underway, with Adolfo Gutkin, until March 12. The Open Classroom with Sara Ribeiro “Theatrical Madness” will  be held on January 20 and 21 (3:00 p.m.).

 

About the João Garcia Miguel Company:
Founded 16 years ago, in 2002, the João Garcia Miguel Company is a company of contemporary artistic creation that researches the artistic and creative development in performative arts, explored in the theater. In the course of the company, the search for a difference, a singularity, accompany each new creation. Its creations were several times
distinguished and awarded, being the most recent in 2014 with the SPA Prize for the Best Theater Show, with the piece Yerma. Cia JGM is a structure financed by the Government of Portugal; the Secretary of State for Culture and the General Direction Of The Arts.
