Mirian Tavares’s article, “As Canseiras desta Vida: Um olhar sobre Vida Tramada” ( The weariness of this life: A look at a trapped life), has been published in a collection that brings together texts by several researchers who analyze films by the students of the Cinema courses of the University of Beira Interior, produced between 2007 and 2017. UBICinema, 2007-2017, organized by Luís Nogueira and Ana Catarina Pereira, aims to combat the invisibility to which school movies are often voted, bringing them to a permanent building memory that constitutes the film heritage. This book was published in the LabCom.IFP, a unit of research in the area of Communication, Philosophy and Humanities of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Beira Interior.
