Sandra Boto takes the traditional Portuguese romanceiro to the University of Oviedo

The researcher Sandra Boto will be at the University of Oviedo between the 30th January the 2nd and February 2019, invited by the the Portuguese lecturer of the Instituto Camões of this institution, where she will speak at the conference “O que têm a ver o Romantismo, o Romanceiro e as Humanidades Digitais?”. In this Conference, the researcher, responsible for the projects romanceiro.pt and garrettonline, both developed in the CIAC, will explore the relationship between the “discovery” of the traditional Portuguese romanceiro within the frame of the Romantic ideology of the 21st century and the digital platforms that are being developed on this poetry, which allow us to explore this issue in an innovative way.
