CULTURAL ADVENTURES

Cultural Adventures – Exploring connections, transactions and interactions between South West Europe and South East Asia is a scientific and artistic project developed by CIAC, in collaboration with the University of Technology of Architecture and Design of King Mongkut Thonburi, in the fields of visual communication and digital art, with the mediation and collaboration of the audiovisual artist Hanspeter Amnann.

The project, developed within the Center’s strategic lines for the next five years, seeks interactions between Faro and Bangkok, exploring historical, contemporary, cultural, documentary, fictional, factual and symbolic relations between two distinct cultural contexts.

The mediation between the institutions will be assured by the audiovisual artist Hanspeter Amnann, member of the advisory board of CIAC.

The scientific responsibility of the project is shared by researchers Bruno Mendes da Silva of CIAC and Nigel Power of KMUTT.
