CULTURAL HERITAGE DIGITAL LABORATORY
The Digital Cultural Heritage Laboratory project aims to contribute to the process of participatory governance, to rescue and enhance cultural heritage and memory and to create opportunities for economic development and enhancement of local products, bearing in mind the marketing potential.
One of the project’s objectives is to collect and process information on the cultural heritage of Portugal, Cape Verde, Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Macau, mainly in the area of the arts, forms of artistic representation and respective production. In addition, it is intended to enhance the heritage, as a way to promote the integrated and sustainable development of the region(s) and countries.
The centrality of the project is gathered around heritage (primarily immaterial), the collective imagination, memory, and identity.
