MIRIAN TAVARES AGRÉGATION EXAMS TAKE PLACE ON FEBRUARY13 AND 14
Mirian Tavares, CIAC coordinator, presents her Agrégation exams for the title of Agrégé in Digital Media Art. The exams are open to the public and take place on 13 and 14 February, at 14h30 and 14h00 respectively, at the Rectorate Seminars Room, Building 5, first floor, University of Algarve Campus Gambelas.
13 February will be devoted to the analysis, appreciation, and discussion of Tavares’ CV (preceded by a brief presentation, max 15 minutes), as well as the discussion of the Report for the Discipline “Art, Communication and Contemporaneity” (preceded of a brief presentation, max 10 minutes).
On the 14th, Mirian Tavares will present the lesson “Recovering the senses – the role of aesthetics in the Digital World” (preceded by a 1h presentation).
The title of Academic Agrégé is required for the career progression of university lecturers and is granted by accreditation in public exams. This title aims to attest, in a given field of knowledge or specialty, the quality of the academic, professional, scientific, and pedagogic capacities of the lecturer. It also vouches for the capacity of research and the ability to direct and carry out independent scientific works.
