CIAC RESEARCH GRANT

BEATRIZ VALENTE IS CIAC’S NEW COMMUNICATION AND DIGITAL MEDIA RESEARCH STUDENT

As of December 19, 2022, Beatriz Valente joined the CIAC team as a Research Student in the field of Communication and Digital Media. She was selected through the call promoted within the scope of the UIDB/04019/2020 CIAC project, funded by the foundation for Science and Technology. Beatriz Valente will work at the CIAC headquarters at the University of Algarve (Gambelas Campus).

Beatriz Valente holds a degree in Communication Sciences (completed in 2020) from the Higher School of Education and Communication (ESEC-UAlg) and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Communication and Digital Media at the same institution.

Under the mentorship of CIAC vice-coordinator Bruno Mendes da Silva, Beatriz will collaborate in the organization and archive of the center’s audiovisual collection; develop audiovisual content in accordance with the research projects hosted by CIAC; resume the project CIAC Talks; and will make audiovisual records of events promoted/supported by the Center.
