SPORTS COMMUNICATION IS THE THEME OF THE NEXT SEMINAR

The upcoming Seminar in Communication Sciences will focus on Sports Communication, featuring guest speaker Luís Cristóvão, commentator for Antena 1, Sic Notícias, and DAZN/Eleven Portugal.

Luís Cristóvão holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures – Portuguese and French Studies from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lisbon.

Since 2010, he has been working in the field of sports communication. He served as a commentator for Eurosport from 2015 to 2018 and was a co-author of the now-extinct podcast Linha Lateral. He has a regular presence in the written press, having been published in both national and international outlets. He has been a sports commentator on Antena 1, Eleven Sports Portugal, and SIC/SIC Notícias since 2018.

The seminar, organized by CIAC, will take place on November 14th at 10:30 AM in Room 22 of the Higher School of Education and Communication.

The Communication Sciences Seminars are an initiative that has been developing in recent years, in connection with professionals and the community. The sessions are promoted by the researchers of CIAC’s Research Group on Communication Sciences, professors in The Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Master’s Degree in Communication and Digital Media of ESEC-UAlg.
