CIAC-UAB PROMOTES DIGITAL MEDIA-ART SYMPOSIUM

On 18 November 2022, from 9h00 to 16h15, CIAC-UAb (Universidade Aberta – Lisbon) promotes the 1º Simpósio de Média-Arte Digital. The seminar takes place at Universidade Aberta, in Lisbon (R. da Escola Politécnica, 147, Auditório 3).

The 1st Digital Media-Art Symposium is organized in three panels: Digital Art and Creative Industries (9h30-10h30); Ciberperformance (11h00-12h30); and Digital Media-Art (14h00-16h00). It aims to promote the Research Group on Digital Media-Art and present the results of research carried out at CIAC-UAb (with an emphasis on 4ArtPreneur and CyPeT); as well as to facilitate an exchange of experience and knowledge amongst guest speakers and the audience, creating a network of synergy and collaboration. Besides that, the symposium allows DMAD (Doctorate in Digital Media-Art) students to present and discuss the results of their thesis

The symposium is the first of a series of events that will be hosted by CIAC-UAb. These events will take place regularly and will be open to the community.
