The 10th Doctoral Reunion in Digital Media-Art carries on this Wednesday with conferences, round tables, and a visit to the Alfaia Association, in Loule.

10h00 – Animation and Digital Cinema with António Costa Valente

He has produced and directed films that have been distinguished with more than three hundred awards at festivals on all continents.

11h30 – Museum Zer0 with João Vargues

Museum Zer0 is concerned with paying attention to the programming of activities and their future artistic content, the commitment to establish a program of events and initiatives that correspond to activities of a regular nature and of “variable geometry”, as well as its high requirements established in the level of technical and technological resources to be involved in the future.

14H00 – Digital Sound and Music with José Alberto Gomes

This session presents an evolution of Computer Music through guided listening of works, providing room for comments and discussion.

15H30 – Round Table-creative processes — with artists currently enrolled in the postgraduate course in creative processes, which aims to promote the humanistic, cultural and artistic training of students through the knowledge of theoretical, analytical and critical instruments leading to the understanding of artistic, literary and cultural practices from the point of view of the genesis of artistic works and the study of creative processes.

17H30 – visit to Alfaia Association

Alfaia is a non-profit association, based in Loulé, which aims to reflect about the arts and their condition in contemporary society, create conditions for the development of creative activity and establish links between artists, the community, and their territory.
