DIRECTOR AND CIAC COLLABORATOR EDGAR PÊRA IN THE PORTUGUESE FILM FESTIVAL CIC-CIAC  

On the 16th of September, at 5:30pm, film director and CIAC collaborator Edgar Pêra will be present at the CIC-CIAC Portuguese Film Festival to present O Espectador Espantado – The Amazed Spectator. The event is part of the CIC-CIAC film club programming, which results from the partnership between CIAC and the Research Group in Communication, Image and Contemporaneity (GP CIC).

Besides Edgar Pêra, the CIC-CIAC Portuguese Film Festival will also count on the participation of researchers and directors/filmmakers Hernando Urrutia, Paulo Filipe Monteiro and André Gil Mata. At the end of the event there will be a tribute to Manoel de Oliveira, with a talk by the researcher José Bértolo about the Portuguese filmmaker’s work.

In previous editions, CIAC researchers Mirian Tavares, Bruno Mendes da Silva, José Bidarra and Jorge Carrega have already been invited.
