FCT CALL FOR TENDERS

FCT RELEASE 5TH EDITION OF INDIVIDUAL CEEC AND R&D PROJECT COMPETITION

The opening notices for the 5th edition of the Individual Scientific Employment Incentive Competition (Individual CEEC) and the R&D Projects in All Scientific Domains Competition are now available on the FCT portal.

CEEC Individual annually supports the hiring of doctoral researchers, in all scientific areas, who intend to carry out scientific research or technological development in Portugal, in the institutions that make up the National System of Science and Technology (SNCT). Applications will be accepted from the 3rd of February 2022 until 5pm on the 3rd of March 2022. Those interested in nominating CIAC as host institution should send their application proposal to secretaria.ualg@ciac.pt.

The I&D Projects in All Scientific Domains Call supports scientific research and technological development projects (S&TD), with a maximum duration of 36 months, directed at original scientific questions or concepts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and which result in indicators of achievement of scientific production during the course of the project; and exploratory research projects (PeX), with a maximum duration of 18 months, directed at the exploration of ideas or concepts that show potential for innovation and/or originality. The period for submission of applications runs until 17h00 on March 10, 2022.
