ANTÓNIO COSTA VALENTE PARTICIPATES IN FILM FESTIVAL IN BRAZIL

CIAC researcher António Costa Valente will contribute to the MA Beach Film Festival with the lecture “CINECLUBE AVANCA e Filmes lusófonos”. The lecture takes place next Wednesday, October 11, at 17h30 (Brazil). Costa Valente’s intervention will be held via Zoom and is part of one of the 14 panels on cinema that compose the festival’s program.

MA Beach Film Festival, the new International Film Festival of Maranhão, is an organization of Yabá Filmes, taking place at IEMA – Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (Brazil) and takes place in Cururupu between October 9 and 15, 2023. In this first edition, the festival has the theme of Memories and identity — especially of the traditional peoples, fishing islands, popular culture, and Legends of the region.
