In March, CIAC researchers expose in international exhibitions.
The researcher Ana Romana, PhD in Communication, Culture and Arts by the University of Algarve and a CIAC collaborator, participates in the collective exhibition “Orto di incendio”, held at Istuto per la Gráfica in Rome, until the 14th April, with regard to the Italian translation of Horto de Incêndio. This exhibition brings together an extensive set of works created by Portuguese artists from the poetry of Al Berto (1948-1997) and in particular from his last book, Horto de Incêndio, published in the year of his death.
“Orto di incendio” will be shown in November at the Chiado Museum in Lisbon, where it will remain until February 2020, “is a free and passionate homage to a poet who has strongly marked the literary and artistic scene of his country,” summarizes Bertolazzi in the brief text he wrote for the inauguration of “Orto di Incendio” in Rome.
The researcher Hernando Urritia, PhD student in Media-Digital Art from the University of Algarve and the Open University, participates in the “22nd Rencontres Traverse Vidéo L’Expérimental {recherche / art}” from the 13rd to the 31st March 2019, one of the most important in Europe, where the video art work of this multidisciplinary artist, representing Portugal, will be presented together with the proposals of fifty artists from different regions of the world.
Also in March, CIAC’s collaborator, Selma Pereira, Artist, PhD in Media-Digital Art from Universidade Aberta and Universidade do Algarve, was selected to exhibit at the Artroom Fair Roma 2019 – International Contemporary Art Fair for Independent Artists, with the “Nature of a digital dream”. We will be able to follow the creative process of the artist in her blog.
Ainda no mês de março, a colaboradora do CIAC, Selma Pereira, Artista, Doutora em Média-Arte Digital pela Universidade Aberta e Universidade do Algarve, foi selecionada para expor na Artroom Fair Roma 2019 – International Contemporary Art Fair for Independent Artists, com a obra “Nature of a digital dream”.
