CIAC RESEARCHER INVITED TO JOIN RAN POLICY SUPPORT MEETING ABOUT ONLINE HATE SPEECH

On 12th July 2022, CIAC researcher Susana Costa will attend to the online meeting of RAN Policy Support, an awareness network on radicalization of the European Commission.

Under the theme “Leveraging Gamification to Address Online Hate Speech”, Susana Costa is invited to be part of the second panel of the event, which will explore case studies of P/CVE interventions through game and gamification tools. “Play your Role: Gamification against Hate Speech” is the title of the researcher’s communication.

RAN Policy Support was launched in January 2021 by the European Commission, with the aim of bridging the gap between policymaking and research. It is intended to bring together members of the public and private sector, think tanks, academia and civil society organizations to provide policymakers with the best available information and analysis on P/CVE and related topics.
