CIAC RESEARCHERS TAKE PART IN THE INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR “PRACTICE & RESEARCH”

On 23 February 2023, CIAC researchers Ana Perfeito, Alexandre Martins, and Susana Costa, together with CIAC coordinators Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva, present their research experience and artistic practice on the Practice & Research Seminar, promoted by KMUTT – King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (Bangkok, Thailand).

In this seminar, the researchers reflect on what it might mean to reimagine art and design practices as forms of inquiry and how creative projects and productions might become recognized as research.

Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva will be, at the time, in Thailand for an official visit as part of the project Cultural Adventures: Exploring Connections, transactions and Interactions between South West Europe and South East Asia, carried out by CIAC, in cooperation with School for Architecture and Design (KMUTT). This seminar is part of the activities planned for the official visit.
