MANUEL CÉLIO CONCEIÇÃO PARTICIPATES IN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR DEVOTED TO ‘TERMINOLOGIES AND LINGUISTIC POLICIES’

On 17 May 2023, between 9h00 and 12h00, CIAC researcher Manuel Célio Conceição participates in the seminar TERMES ET SAVOIRS, PATRIMOINES ET CULTURES De nouvelles perspectives (eco)terminologiques [Terminologies s and knowledge, heritage, and cultures. New (eco)terminological perspectives] organized by the Observatory of Terminologies and linguistic policies of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, in collaboration with CIAC.

In addition to professor Célio Conceição, will be part of the event researchers Maria Teresa Zanolda (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore), Etienne Quillot (Délégation générale à la langue française et aux langues de France, Ministère de la Culture), Laurent Gautier (Université de Bourgogne), Anne Parizot (Université de Bourgogne) and Claudio Grimaldi (Università degli Studi di Napoli “Parthenope”).

The Observatory of terminologies and linguistic policies (OTPL) aims to deepen the knowledge of specialized terminologies in euro-American languages through scientific, theoretical, and applied research activities, which aim to carry out monolingual and/or multilingual terminological studies and works from a diachronic and synchronous perspective.
