ANA ISABEL SOARES PARTICIPATES IN A SEMINAR PROMOTED BY UNIVERSIDAD REY JUAN CARLOS

On the 22 and 23 October , CIAC researcher Ana Isabel Soares will be present at the seminar Cine en el ámbito ibérico: género a foco, integrated in the Jornadas sobre imagen y mujer en España y Portugal, invited by University Rey Juan Carlos  The event takes place at the Fuenlabrada Campus, in Madrid.

“I will tell you a story: my story. Autobiographical film and women” is the title of the paper that will be presented by Ana Isabel Soares (University of Algarve) and Ana Catarina Pereira (University of Beira Interior), as members of the Speculum project. This is a project about autobiographical documentaries made by women, developed by the University of Beira Interior, with CIAC as a partner. The study is coordinated by Ana Catarina Pereira, with the support of Ana Isabel Soares and a multidisciplinary team of researchers from Portugal and Brazil.

The seminar Cine en el ámbito ibérico: género a foco brings together professors and researchers from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), Universidade de Lisboa, Universidade da Beira Interior, Universidade do Algarve and Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
