MIRIAN TAVARES AND BRUNO MENDES DA SILVA IN INTERVIEW
The 16th edition of the Perspetiva Atual [Current Perspective] supplement of SOL newspaper, includes an interview with Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva, CIAC’s coordinator and vice-coordinator. Recently published, the interview reveals the Center’s objectives and lines of research, its projects and its position in the academic community and in society.
Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva highlight the innovative research carried out by CIAC in the areas of artistic and cultural studies, communication and literary studies; they point out the interdisciplinary nature of the work of its collaborators and researchers; and underline the articulation and cooperation among the Center’s poles.
They mention some of CIAC’s partnerships with regional, national and international entities and refer to some projects resulting from these partnerships, namely CyPeT, Play Your Role and the collection Processos de Criação. At the end of the interview, Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva talk about the Center’s future goals and objectives.
