NEW BOOK BY JOSÉ BOGALHEIRO COMPILES TEXTS ON THE IMAGE OF WOMEN IN CINEMA

Do Álbum que me coube em sorte is the most recent publication authored by CIAC researcher José Bogalheiro. The publication is part of the investigation “Cinema as a metamorphosis of inner experience” that Bogalheiro carries out at the CIAC / ESTC-IPL hub.

The book is the result of a compilation of 9 Chronicles published on the cinephilia website À Pala de Walsh which were projected as a variation of Guido Ceronetti’s statement that “woman is image”, which, in the experience of the cinema viewer, was brought to light.

Do Álbum que me coube em sorte is a sequel to the first volume published by the author, Se confinado um espectador, which dealt with changes in cinematic life brought up by the condition of the spectator during the pandemic.

This publication has the support of FCT-Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia and CIAC – Centro de Investigação em Artes e Comunicação (Pólo IPL-Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa).
