RESEARCH GRANT

APPLICATIONS FOR GRANTS FOR R&D PROJECTS IN ALL SCIENTIFIC DOMAINS TO TAKE PLACE IN NOVEMBER 

The Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT)  is committed to increasing the budget available for the Call for R&D projects in all scientific domains in 2023, so it is establishing synergies with PT2030 to be able to allocate an amount of at least 100m € to the funding of this project support program, which represents an increase of 33% compared to previous Calls.

According to FCT, obtaining this funding requires an articulation of the FCT projects regulation with the PT2030 regulation, which is under development, so FCT has decided to postpone, for the period 1 to 30 November, the submission of applications to Call for R&D projects in all scientific domains of 2023. This postponement will also ensure the adoption of simplified costs, which will result in greater efficiency in the time management of researchers.
