ESEC AND CIAC PROMOTE A SEMINAR ABOUT STORYTELLING IN ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION

Tomorrow, November 25, between 2 pm and 5 pm, the School of Education and Communication (ESEC) of the University of Algarve and CIAC promote the seminar Storytelling in organizational communication, with Vânia Sousa, a specialist in communication and marketing. Organized in the scope of the curricular unit of Techniques of Verbal Expression and Semiotics, of the degree in Communication Sciences, the session will be moderated by Prof. Carmen Monereo and will take place at ESEC’s room 1.3.

The seminary aims to clarify the importance of the use of storytelling as a communicational technique of engagement between organizations and their audiences. Based on a theoretical and practical methodology, the Storytelling in organizational communication seminary aims to provide the necessary skills for the creation of differentiating narratives.

Guest speaker Vânia Sousa is the coordinator of World Wellness Weekend Portugal, a global event focused on health and wellness. She is a trainer and researcher in communication and marketing in tourism and editorial reviewer for Redmarka. Applied Marketing Journal. Communication, digital marketing and storytelling are her great passion.
