EUGÉNIA VASQUES MENTORS THEATER PROJECTS

CIAC researcher Eugénia Vasques is the scientific mentor of the project A História do Teatro em Guimarães: de Gil Vicente aos dias de hoje, by Inês Lago; and provides dramaturgical support for A Espera, written by Maria João Falcão.

Beginning in January 2021 and running until December 2023, A História do Teatro em Guimarães, de Gil Vicente aos dias de hoje is a research project by Inês Lago, with the scientific guidance of Eugénia Vasques and the support for the history of Guimarães by António Amaro das Neves. This project is supported by Guimarães City Hall, as part of the IMPACTA program (Municipal Investment in Cultural, Territorial, and Artistic Projects and Activities).

A Espera, by Maria João Falcão, is a theater project based on the concept of “waiting,” with research support by Maria Filomena Molder and dramaturgical support by Eugénia Vasques. Running between June and September 2023, the project will have public presentations at Biblioteca Camões, in Lisbon.
