CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SPECIAL ISSUE OF JOURNAL ROTURA OPEN FROM 1 APRIL TO 31 MAY

The submission of articles for the second special issue of CIAC’s  Rotura – Journal of Communication, Culture and Arts, starts on 1 April 2023. Under the theme “Cinemas of the Mediterranean”, this is a dossier organized by the Research Group on Film Studies of the Center, following the I International Colloquium “Cinemas of the Mediterranean”. The call for papers is open until 31 May 2023.

This issue aims to promote research and stimulate critical reflection on cinema as an expression of the history, culture, and Heritage(s) of the Mediterranean. Rotura welcomes articles written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French, addressing the most varied themes related to the cinema produced in Mediterranean countries.

Under the direction of CIAC coordinators Mirian Tavares and Bruno Mendes da Silva, the second special issue of the journal Rotura is edited by researcher Jorge Carrega (CIAC/UAlg).
