JOURNAL MANUSCRÍTICA PUBLISHES INTERVIEW AND PAPER BY CIAC RESEARCHER
The latest issue Manuscrítica – Journal of Genetic Criticism(n.48), includes an interview and a paper written by CIAC researcher Patrícia Dourado. Focused on “Education and Creation Processes: Contemporaty Relations,” this issue gathers works on the topic of creation processes involved in education and pedagogical practices involved in artistic creation processes.
The interview “Formação transversal na área dos Processos de Criação: práticas educacionais entrelaçadas na Pós-Graduação em Processos de Criação da Universidade do Algarve”, carried out by CIAC researchers Patrícia Dourado a Mirian Tavares (CIAC/UAlg), Ana Isabel Soares (CIAC/UAlg), Ana Clara Santos (CIAC/UAlg) and Cecilia Salles (PUC-SP), focuses on the creation and development of the curriculum of the new Postgraduate course on Creation Processes, of the University of the Algarve in collaboration with the Research Group on Creation Processes of PUC-SP. The Posgraduate course aims to develop humanity, cultural, and artistic background in students through the knowledge and theoretical, analytical, and critical resources conducive to the understanding of artistic, literary, and cultural practices from the point of view of the genesis of artistic work and of the study of creation processes.
The paper “Práticas educacionais e estudo dos processos de criação no âmbito do Grupo de Pesquisa em Processos de Criação da PUC-SP: interações possíveis“, by Patrícia Dourado (CIAC/UAlg) and coathored by Cecilia Salles, Ana Bárbara dos Santos, Isabela Caroline Silva, Flávia Paiva, Karen Lemes, Samir Cheida (Pontifícia Universidade Católica – São Paulo), is the result of exchanges and interactions amongst the members of the Research Group in Creation Processes of PUC-SP, in the face of its educational practices. It discusses critical reviews in different fields of the scope of formal education (Schools, Education Bureau, and Universities) and non-formal education (educational centers in art exhibitions, courses, and workshops in cultural institutions).
Manuscrítica – Journal of Genetic Criticism, is a publication of the Association of Researchers in Genetic Criticism (APCG) and the Graduate Program in Foreign Languages and Translation (PPG LETRA, in the Brazilian acronym) at the University of São Paulo. Since 1990, Manuscrítica has published papers that dialogue with genetic criticism, a discipline that studies creation processes in several areas, such as literature, visual arts, theater, and cinema.
